Sheet Packing Description Application
Red Rubber This rubber-SBR combination is available in various widths and thickness.  It is suitable for medium applications with hot or cold water, saturated steam and air. - Temperature up to 250° F
- Medium pressure
- Hydraulic applications
Cloth-Inserted Rubber This material is used for higher pressures with temperatures to 250° F.  It is useful for gasketing on narrow flanges with a high bolt load. - Temperature up to 250° F
- Low pressure
- Cold
- Narrow flanges
Pure Gum Rubber This rubber sheet is very soft with a low durometer hardness.  It is used to seal against hot or cold water  where a soft seal is required with minimum pressure. - Temperature up to 150° F
- Refrigeration and marine service
- Doors
- Rough flanges
Silicone Rubber This material offers good electrical strength and insulation as well as resistance against deterioration from sunlight. moisture, and oxidation.   It contains no acid-producing chemicals, is odorless, tasteless, non-toxic and non corrosive - Temperature up to 500° F
- Flexibility and strength in insulation
Buna - N Rubber This Nitrile-Butadiene material is a soft, high grade sheet packing used as gasketing for aromatic fuels and solvents.  It is resistant to the effects of sunlight and its water absorption characteristics are low. - Temperature up to 250° F
- Aromatic fuels and solvents
Butyl Rubber This synthetic material features excellent aging properties, non-petroleum oil resistance and low permeation.  It offers good weather resistance and excellent dielectric strength. - Temperature up to 300° F
- Oxidizing chemicals
- Animal and vegetable fats, oils and greases
EPR/EPDM This ethylene propylene rubber is a high performance gasketing material used in the presence of heat, steam, ozone and chemicals.  It offers good - Temperature up to 250° F
- Heat, steam, & ozone
- Acids, alkalis, and hydraulic fluids
Vitonİ This unique material has excellent high temperature, air, oil, and chemical resistance.   We supply grade specific material - Excellent high temperature, air, oil, and chemical resistance
Neopreneİ With a few exceptions, it is an excellent material for sealing oil, gas. and petroleum solvents. - Temperature up to 250° F
- Oil, gasoline, and petroleum solvents
Tan Vegetable Fiber This is a low cost general purpose material for sealing petroleum products and hot and cold water.  it has excellent solvent resistance to products used in automotive applications. -Temperature up to 250° F
- Automotive use - gasoline, benzene, oil and grease
Hard Vulcanized Fiber This material is made from converted cellulose into a dense rough substance.  It has abrasion resistant properties as well as mechanical and dielectric strength. - Temperature up to 220° F
- Abrasion resistance
Fibercork This is a combination of cork and fiber, made with cork particles, bonded with glue-glycerin impregnation.  It is impervious to gasoline, oil and water.  - Temperature up to 250° F
- Low pressure applications
Ceramic These fibers are light weight thermal insulation products designed for temperatures up to2300° F.  They have high heat resistance, chemical stability, light weight, thermal stability and sound absorption. - Temperature up to 2300° F
- High temperature insulation and sealing
U-Car Grafoilİ - Flexible Graphite These unique material contains no resin binders or organic fillers.  It resists corrosion, especially at high temperatures and offers compressibility retention at all temperatures. - Temperature up to 5000° F in non-
